Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame nearly had a fight scene involving Black Panther’s Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Thor: Ragnarok’s Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) using each other’s weapons on the film’s many baddies. Congrats, iPhone owners: Popular online food ordering service Eat24 has determined that you are healthier than users of Google’s Android. That’s based on data it collected from its mobile app over a three month period, tracking information regarding how ordering habits differed across the rival platforms. To come to its conclusion, Eat24 first looked at its filters used for narrowing down local restaurant choices. Here, the company found that 27% of iPhone users whittle down their options to only the “Healthy” variety before choosing any other filters....

Apple executive Eddy Cue, in charge of the team that developed Apple Pay, recently participated in some holiday shopping with local news station KTLA to demonstrate how the new mobile payments platform works. Cue, alongside tech reporter Rich DeMuro, visited a number of stores in Santa Monica, California, including Panera Bread, Bloomingdale’s and the Disney Store. The video reiterates how seamless it is to make contactless payments with Apple Pay by simply tapping an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus on an NFC-equipped payment terminal....

Last month we reported that Tim Cook would be facing deposition over Qualcomm patent royalties in June. Today, another SVP from Apple is being added to the list. Bloomberg reports that Eddy Cue is now being deposed in the case. Apparently, Apple argued against the move, but San Diego Federal Judge Mitchell D. Dembin ultimately turned that down, favoring Qualcomm’s request to add Cue to the program. Apple argued back in November that Cue had nothing to do with the case as he merely oversees services at the company....
