Empire of Sin is set in 1920s Chicago, smack in the middle of the Prohibition Era. Players will construct their criminal empires by managing various enterprises, brokering alliances, and, of course, letting fly a few pounds of lead.

At least visually, it’s certainly a different take on the turn-based strategy genre, which often dabbles in grimdark, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, or medieval settings. But let’s face it: being able to go toe-to-toe with Al Capone is enough for us.

Developed by legendary designer John Romero (Doom, Quake, Wolfenstein) and Brenda Romero (Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Commander, Ravenwood Fair, Wizardry 8),
