Here are the locations for every Legendary Armament in Elden Ring.
Where to Find All Legendary Armaments in Elden Ring
You’ll need to complete almost the entire game to get every Legendary Armament in Elden Ring. There are also four of the weapons locked directly behind boss fights, though if you wait until you’re close to finishing a playthrough to acquire those, you’ll have an easier time dealing with those encounters.
Whenever you seek them, here are all the Legendary Armaments presented in alphabetical order.
Bolt of Gransax
This greatspear is only accessible once you’ve reached Leyndell, Royal Capital, and defeated the golden shade of Godfrey, First Elden Lord.
With the Erdree Sanctuary Site of Grace unlocked, head west from the Godfrey shade’s boss arena and take the stairs down to the elevator on the right. At the bottom, leave the elevator shaft and look left to see the corpse of a giant dragon and the humongous spear sunk into the side of the building.
You’ll need to jump over the railing and onto the rooftop below you, then platform up the side of the giant spear to the shiny item atop it. This is your usable Bolt of Gransax.
Dark Moon Greatsword
The Dark Moon Greatsword is the ultimate reward for completing Ranni’s questline, and it will appear as an item after you put the ring on Ranni’s finger and she speaks to you one last time.
Located in the caves beneath the church at the north of the Moonlight Altar, Ranni and her Two Fingers will be long dead by the time you reach them. See our guide to Ranni’s quest for more on how to get this weapon.
Devourer’s Scepter
This is available after you have defeated Godskin Duo and unlocked the Beside the Great Bridge Site of Grace.
Head up onto said bridge and, rather than turning right to go to the Maliketh boss, turn left and follow the path that leads to the right. You’ll come to a ladder leading to a long platform with a Gazebo at the end. Provided you’ve killed Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy in the Volcano Manor section, you’ll be invaded by Recusant Bernahl, who drops the Devourer’s Scepter once defeated.
Eclipse Shotel
You’ll find the Eclipse Shotel, a Death-blighted Curved Sword, in Castle Sol in the northernmost section of the Mountaintops of the Giants. You’re likely to come upon the Church of the Eclipse naturally on your way to fight Commander Niall, but we have a full rundown of how to get the Eclipse Shotel in our guide.
Golden Order Greatsword
Hidden away in the Cave of the Forlorn at the easternmost edge of the riverbed in the Consecrated Snowfield, you won’t be getting the Golden Order Greatsword without enduring much hardship.
First, you need to collect both halves of the Haligtree Medallion; then, you have to navigate the blizzard conditions east. If you come across a magma wyrm, you’ve gone too far. The entrance to the Cave is nestled in the northern cliff face behind a Stonesword Key fog.
Once in the Cave of the Forlon, keep to the left and carefully platform into its depths until you reach the Misbegotten Crusader boss. Defeat it for the sword.
Grafted Blade Greatsword
Both the earliest and likely easiest Legendary Armament to acquire, you’ll need to head south of Limgrave to the southern tip of the Weeping Peninsula and complete Castle Morne, including defeating the Leonine Misbegotten in the prison beyond the castle itself.
Follow our guide to finding Hyetta for more details.
Marais Executioner’s Sword
In the northwestern part of the Altus Plateau is the Shaded Castle, a keep surrounded by a poison swamp. At the top of the Castle is Elemer of the Briar.
Defeating him awards the Marais Executioner’s Sword.
Ruins Greatsword
After defeating Starscourge Radahn, teleport to the Chamber Outside the Plaza Site of Grace in Redmane Castle.
Said plaza will now have a boss fog in front of it. Enter the fog, and you’ll first encounter a MIsbegotten Warrior, but when it reaches half health, a Crucible Knight will spawn, and you’ll need to defeat both of them to claim the Ruins Greatsword.
Sword of Night and Flame
Once one of the most powerful weapons in Elden Ring, the Sword of Night and Flame received a modest nerf early in the game’s lifecycle. It’s still very strong, but not at the same level it once was.
Either way, head to Caria Manor, and when you reach the section where you’re running across the parapets, turn left rather than going straight. You’ll eventually see a rooftop below and to your right. Jump down to it, then onto the rooftop below it, and head down the ladder. The chest in the room on the lowest level will have the Sword inside.
Once you collect every Legendary Armament, you’ll receive the aptly named Legendary Armaments Achievement/Trophy.
